Captain Kitty

Victor found this little book at a swap meet for a dollar. The book is Called Captain Kitty and I love it so much.

I think you can still find a used version of this book online. It's super cute.

Book is by Godfrey Lynn, illustrated by Elizabeth Webbe.

  32. Ah memories.... this post makes me cry! Know why, few years ago my mother just sold my collection of children mini books a the flea market and of course it was containing this book "Captain Kitty"...

    Sometimes mothers really have funny ideas...

  35. I remember seeing this book when I was little and went to visit my Grandparents. I'm sure it had been my mother's when she was little. How wonderful to see and remember it again!

    They remind me of my favorite little children book, a so called Pixi Buch, tiny books sold in Germany (and whereever else).
    My fav is called: Mama Miezemau und ihre Katzen
    (Mom Caty and her children).
