Florals

Oh flowers.

I was in Phoenix recently for my sister's wedding, and I was pleasantly surprised that the desert was so green. It had supposedly been raining quite a bit, and there were lots of wildflowers and little shrubs all over. Come late afternoon, clouds had formed but the sun still shone so brightly. It was like a painting.

I love Arizona. I wish I took photos.

Anyway, I'm back in San Francisco.

How are you?

  4. Glad you had a nice break. I really like these sweet flowers. You make me want to visit a desert very soon! I just put together a little succulent pot for my office yesterday for my own little piece of desert beauty. I posted a pic on my blog.

    Happy Spring!

  5. I live in the Phoenix metropolitan area - the Valley of the Sun - and yes, we have already had more rain this year than we had all year last year! The wildflowers this year will be spectacular! Some are already in bloom, as you saw - but the whole desert will be carpeted with flowers in some areas in the next month or so. Karin
